A&M Recycling – Business Operations and Community Commitment Statement

A&M Recycling is a scrap metal recycling company owned and operated with dedication, integrity, and a strong commitment to both environmental sustainability and community responsibility. The company is led by its founder, Nandi Agbonbon, who brings hands-on experience in the recycling industry, having processed over 160,000 pounds of scrap metal to date. Our operations are mobile, utilizing a 24-foot box truck to travel across the United States, purchasing metal from government auctions and commercial sellers.

Our primary focus is on the efficient collection, sorting, and resale of scrap metals including steel, aluminum, and copper. We do not operate a public-facing junkyard at this time, but we are working toward establishing a permanent location in Wisconsin, to better serve our clients and expand operations.

Operational Efficiency and Environmental Responsibility

Our business is designed for quick and organized turnarounds. All transactions and pickups are scheduled in advance, minimizing disruption to surrounding areas. Inventory is securely stored and never left in public view or outside overnight. We work only with licensed disposal companies to remove any unsellable or used material, ensuring that no waste is left behind.

Our goal is to maintain a clean, professional, and neighborhood-friendly presence. When a physical site is established in Wisconsin, we will ensure the property is well-maintained with regular cleaning, landscaping, and signage that reflects our commitment to professionalism. Any facility improvements, including painting or signage, will comply with all local regulations and zoning requirements.

Community Relations and Respect for Local Ordinances

A&M Recycling is committed to operating with transparency and respect for the community in Wisconsin. We will strictly enforce a no-overnight-vehicle policy, and if a vehicle must remain on site temporarily, it will be stored securely indoors. Business hours will be Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and there will be no storage and or display of scrap metal, in public view as it can impact the aesthetics and property. As a company we will secure scrap metal and prevent the area from theft or unauthorized access at our location.

As a proud Black owned business, our mission is not only to grow a successful company but to contribute positively to the community—economically, environmentally, and socially. We aim to bring value to the local economy by creating job opportunities, encouraging sustainable recycling practices, and maintaining respectful relationships with local residents, businesses, and municipal leaders.

A&M Recycling is committed to excellence, compliance, and community benefit in all that we do. We appreciate your support and look forward to becoming a trusted part of the Wisconsin business landscape.
